To take advantage of
the low cost of processing through MoveUpdate, you will need to ensure
that your data input meets the following automation standards:
1. File
Name:
Your input file must contain no spaces. The names of your MoveUpdate
output files will be based on the name of your input file (See: Data Output).
2. File
Format:
a) DBF format (with longest field length of 60 characters).
b)
Comma Delimited with file extension of .TXT
c)
CSV format with extension of .CSV
d)
Tab Delimited with a file extension of .TAB
For Database structure
we will retain all original fields. The fields described below must be
added but may be in any order. For Delimited,CSV and Tab delimited files
the field or column order must correspond with the following values.
Column 1 =
Customer ID (we provide)
Column 2 =PAF ID (we
provide)
Column 3 through 8 =Address
information in logical order as described below for Database Structure
Column 9 = User Field (You may put your unique ID or Customer number here
Only these
first 9 columns will be returned in the same format received
3. Database
Structure:
Always include these first two fields with every file. We will supply
you with the information after we recieve your PAF form.

4. File
Compression (optional):
Compress the database file with WinZip or PkZip and name the zipped file
whatever you want. WinZip and PkZip are shareware programs that
you can find in many locations on the web. The file will be returned to
you via FTP in original format zipped up and password protected. Your
password is your PAF ID.
