As a result of the processing performed by
MoveUpdate.Com, you will receive the following
four output files:
1. Job
Summary Report: (RPT):
The Job Summary Report is a concise
statement
of your job setup, input data, and
results.
The report consists of four
sections;
each one starts on a new page.
Your
Job Summary Report will be a text file
named
InputFile.RPT.
2. National Deliverability Index (NDI):
The National Deliverability Index is a program
of the USPS®. It is a method of measuring and scoring
the quality of address lists. The measuring
and scoring are performed during processing
by ZIP+4® matching software. The result is a
printed report, called the NDI Report.
Your NDI report will be a text file named
InputFile.NDI.
3. CASS
Summary Report (RCS - Form 3553):
The Coding Accuracy Support System (CASSTM)
Summary Report is a facsimile of the USPS Form 3553. You will need
a 3553 form to qualify mailings for postal discounts. Your CASSTM
Summary Report will be a text file named InputFile.RCS. Note,
the updated fields are not provided with the Short Form Output option
described below
3. Mover ID Summary Report (MSR):
The Mover ID Summary includes useful information,
including your entries about the licensee,
customer, service provider, list owner, and
so on. It also lists a summary of return
codes. Your mover ID Summary report will be a text
file named InputFile.MSR
4. Output
Database:
Your output database will contain the same fields as your input database
PLUS a standard list of standardized fields and move
fields (Long Form) - or an abbreviated version of the new move fields
(Short Form). Your output database file will be named InputFileM.DBF.
For Files submitted in Tab,Deli,Csv format - this database file will still
be include along with the output file in the same format submitted and
the same re-naming convention used for the database file. For example
if you submited a file name file1.tab, the new file will be named file1m.tab.
See below for a description of the output fields for the Long Form and
Short Form option.
*For the Short Form
option you may also request ALL data be included in the appended fields.
This means that if there is no move on file for the postal customer the
fields will be populated with the current address.
